Information security today is not only about technology, but also about business resilience, data protection and readiness for modern threats.
Oleksandr Atamanenko, CISO and Head of the Information Security Committee of Oktava Capital, gave a lecture for representatives of the Ukrainian Information Security Council on the topic: “Information Security Management System: What are Information Assets, Why, How and From What to Protect Them”.
During the event, the participants discussed:

▪️ Threat and risk management, where to spend a limited budget
▪️ Incident management – what to do when protection does not work
▪️ Practical tools, first steps for a CISO who is just entering the role.
Such initiatives help to raise the level of awareness of the business community about modern challenges in the field of information security and form a culture of responsible attitude to information protection.
