The fourth stream of the Climate Ambition Accelerator 2025 program from the UN Global Compact has started in Ukraine – the only comprehensive initiative in the country that helps companies adapt to modern climate requirements and achieve sustainable development according to international standards.
Among the participants is Octava Capital, which, together with other leading and responsible companies, signed the Declaration on Climate Responsibility. This document enshrines the obligation of businesses to implement environmental standards, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and integrate sustainability principles into all aspects of their activities.
Climate responsibility is no longer an option – it is a prerequisite for building trust, obtaining investments and access to international cooperation. The implementation of standards, in particular the principles of SBTi (science-based emission reduction targets), opens the way for companies to obtain financing, increase competitiveness and strengthen their positions in the global market.
