The author of the latest miltech developments, the founder of Octava Defence and the chairman of the supervisory board of Octava Capital Oleksandr Kardakov took part in the meeting of the heads of the largest Ukrainian companies with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
During the event, key issues that are crucial for the stable development of the Ukrainian economy were discussed, in particular:
- preserving jobs in times of war,
- supporting defense manufacturers,
- creating favorable conditions for business,
- strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.
The President emphasized the importance of preserving jobs, noting that this is not just an economic issue, but a strategic resource that helps the country survive. He also called on business to openly talk about the difficulties that require a quick solution, and promised maximum support from the state. Oleksandr Kardakov joined the discussion of problems in the IT and Military Tech sectors, which are strategic areas of work of the Octava Group of Companies. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the “Made in Ukraine” initiative, which is designed to support local manufacturers, and to creating a platform for constant dialogue between business and the authorities. After all, effective cooperation between the state and business is the key to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, maintaining economic stability, and introducing innovations.
