CEO of Octava Capital Tetyana Andrianova told The Page how the Octava Group of Companies was able to adapt to work in a full-scale war, what management decisions allowed to maintain the stability of the business and how the strategic priorities of the holding changed.
According to her, one of the key factors of the company’s stability was the rapid adoption of management decisions and a focus on preserving the team. In the first months of the full-scale invasion, the business faced an unprecedented level of uncertainty, but the Group’s companies were able to quickly rebuild operational processes and ensure business continuity.
“I would call one of our most successful decisions during this period the preservation of people and the team as a key asset. We immediately relied on process management, support and retention of the team, even when the market was in panic,” said Tetyana Andrianova.
In a conversation with The Page, she also emphasized that in a war economy, business management requires new approaches. Companies are forced to respond faster to changes, pay more attention to risk management and adapt business models to the new reality.
The Group pays special attention to the development of promising areas and support for projects that are of strategic importance for the country’s economy. At the same time, the development of human capital and participation in socially significant initiatives remain an important component of its work.
The article also discusses the transformation of management approaches in crisis conditions, new principles of working with teams and investment priorities that are formed taking into account long-term challenges for the Ukrainian economy.
