According to the results of the annual survey held by the periodical “Merezhi ta biznes”, Compass Engineering hit TOP-20 system integrators of Ukraine 2020
The results of 2020 for the system integration market are better than expected. The first half of 2021 has also been rather successful, and the positive trend seems to continue.
Everything looks as if the “coronacrisis” is over. Of course, we would like to believe it, yet there are many factors suggesting that the rise may be brief. At the macro level, many countries have actively saturated their economies with money last year and this year (largely due to the “printing press”) to compensate for the general decline in business activity. This has helped to a certain extent, and global business, along with the system integration market, expects a significant recovery.
Starting from the second half of 2021, we will witness the recovery of the share of previously suspended projects and the allocation of funds for IT infrastructure in a more dynamic manner. According to the periodical “Merezhi ta biznes”, the most promising areas include technical security systems, solutions for cybersecurity (traffic control, servers, remote workstations, internal and external edge of the network, fight against insiders and data leakage, etc.).
We also expect a gradual grow in the demand for cloud solutions. In addition, the need for remote services will remain significant, despite the fact that most of the panic requests were closed in 2020, because, according to forecasts, even with the improvement of the epidemiological situation, 50% of employees will not return to offices. Demand for IoT and OT (APCS) solutions is growing, and other areas are developing.
In general, if we compare 2020 and 2021, a 20% growth of the system integration market is likely.
