Digital Ukraine Association spoke about the features of using secure EDS in Ukraine and the world on the example of the scandalous Joe Biden case
During June—July this year, the information space of the Ukrainian media was hit by another high-profile cyber scandal. On 17 June, an unknown person named Joe Biden signed a petition using EDS to dismiss Oleh Tatarov, Deputy Head of the Office of President. It is no coincidence that experts have already called this situation “Riaboshapka Case No. 2”.
Digital Ukraine Association, along with Liga.Tech and experts of AVTOR, Armorum Solutions, Electronic Democracy NGO, Ukrainian Cyber Alliance NGO and West Virginia University (USA) tried to understand what is wrong with EDS in Ukraine, why it is important and how to make a digital signature secure.
