The up-to-date material of CISO, the Head of the Information Security Committee at Octava Capital Oleksandr Atamanenko, on providing the basic means of cyberthreat protection for information assets of Ukrainian companies has been published.
In particular, the expert identifies seven main steps, which, if implemented, guarantee the primary link of security in corporate networks:
– Two-factor authentication for accessing critical data of the enterprise
– Zoning of the corporate network
– Regular updates of software and operating systems
– Installation and regular updating of antivirus software
– E-mail protection
– Ongoing monitoring of the security system
– Data backup
