Olena Kolchenohova, Head of GDPR and Personal Data Protection Practice at Nota Group, took part in the conference on behalf of Octava Group.
The reconstruction of Ukraine will become one of the most significant post-war development projects at the European level. According to a joint estimate by the World Bank, the European Commission, the UN, and the Ukrainian government, the cost of reconstruction will be about $411 billion.
That is why the conference was dedicated to key sectors, including construction, transportation/logistics, energy, IT, startups, and healthcare.
This time, the conference was attended by a significant number of foreign business representatives who continue to do business in Ukraine during the war. Many of them even continue to invest in their own projects in Ukraine, which were launched in the pre-war period.
According to the state agency UkraineInvest, more than USD 1 billion has been invested in the Ukrainian economy in various projects since February 2022. Today, the state is actively negotiating with various American and European insurance agencies on the possibility of risk insurance.
“Such events and the very participation of Ukrainian representatives in such meeting formats open Ukraine to Europeans, provide a true understanding of what is happening inside the country, reveal our culture, advantages, ingenuity, and to a certain extent are information support for Ukraine,” Olena Kolchenohova said.
